Lottery Terms and Conditions
The lottery is conducted by the Centre for Work Health and Safety, which forms part of SafeWork NSW (Promoter).
Entry is open to any childcare business that operates in NSW.
Persons who are performing work for the Promoter or their immediate family members, as well as employees of any company associated with the promotion, are not eligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 9.00 am on Friday 3 August 2018 and concludes at 11.59 pm on Friday 1 March 2019 (promotion period). The Promoter will only accept entries made during the promotion period. No responsibility is accepted for entries not received by the Promoter during the promotion period this time.
To enter, eligible entrants participate in a short research project consisting of four short surveys administered online by JWS research, an independent research partner. Once each survey is complete, the participant will receive one entry into the draw. Maximum of four entries per person.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason, which may include submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Collection of personal information
JWS Research, the research partner, collects your name and contact details for the purpose of conducting this lottery relating to the research. This information will be destroyed after the lottery prizes have been delivered to the four winning recipients. If the information requested is not provided, you may not participate in the competition. If you wish to access or correct the name or contact details you have provided, please email J00742@jwsresearch.com
Prizes and winning
The four winners of the lottery will be drawn from those who entered their contact details after participating in the research. The names of the randomly selected winners are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The four random prize draws will take place at 9.00am Monday 4 March 2019 at the Centre for Work Health and Safety, Gosford NSW.
Each winner will receive a $250 Modern Teaching Aids gift voucher.
Each winner will be notified by phone or email within two (2) business days of the draw. The prize (gift card) will be sent to each winner via Australia Post within seven business days.
The total Prize pool value is $1000. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash prizes cannot be taken as cash.
No permit is required for this event as it is classed as a gratuitous lottery.

All entrants undertake to indemnify and keep indemnified the Promoter against all claims, demands, losses and damages that the Promoter incurs as a result of a breach by the entrant of its obligations under these Conditions of entry.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, mobile phones, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including (but not limited to) any injury or damage to entrants or any other person's computer or mobile phones related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition.
