The Research Foundation, chaired by Executive Director Peter Dunphy, is an advisory committee to the new Centre for Work Health and Safety. The Research Foundation is comprised of leading researchers in work health and safety, as well as leaders in business and government, who have been brought together to discuss the work health and safety research setting.

The development of the Research Foundation is essential to build research capability, establish credibility of the research effort, and drive the research program of the Centre. The Research Foundation will assist in positioning work health and safety research as an investment for the future, with an expected return on investment.

The Research Foundation is currently collaborating on the development of the Centre’s Research Blueprint, identifying priority areas for investment that are aligned with the priorities outlined within the Work Health and Safety Roadmap for NSW 2022.

The Centre, along with Research Foundation, will support evidence-based interventions and preventative actions, and research that will lead to action.

More information about the Centre for Work Health and Safety, including the Research Foundation and its members, is available on the Centre’s website.
