The Research Foundation and the Centre for Work Health and Safety work together to enable improvement and change in work health and safety practices in NSW.

The Research Foundation, chaired by Executive Director Andrew Gavrielatos, is a multidisciplinary advisory committee to the Centre for Work Health and Safety. The Research Foundation is comprised of leading researchers in work health and safety, as well as leaders in business and government, who have been brought together to discuss the work health and safety research setting.

The Research Foundation works closely with the Centre to promote research that is industry driven, credible, ethical, collaborative, methodologically robust, and peer reviewed. This leads to the improved translation of research, data and evaluation into regulator decisions and community practice.

Effective decisions and actions are driven by insights and evidence from high quality research.
