Bernadette Gemmell

Program Manager

Bernadette has a Bachelor of Arts (Languages) and a Masters of International Development. She joins the Centre for Work Health and Safety from the European Institute for Gender Equality in Vilnius, where she led the communications team. She is experienced in managing international projects and events for the European Union, NGOs and the private sector.

Alison Sims, Program Manager, World Congress, Centre for Work Health and Safety

Alison is a strategic communications specialist with two decades of experience in strategic communications. She has held leadership roles within the Commonwealth and NSW governments and private enterprise across a range of industries. Alison has a successful track record in delivering creative and strategic solutions and has strong skills in communications planning, branding, major campaigns, corporate and change communications, media, events, public relations, sponsorship, social and digital media. Alison holds a Bachelor of Communications in Marketing, Advertising and Economics from the University of Canberra.

Eloise Grace, Senior Marketing Advisor, World Congress, Centre for Work Health and Safety

Eloise Grace

Senior Marketing Advisor

Eloise has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce. Her work experiences have been diverse, spanning across multiple sectors from manufacturing, technology, retail, and charity. Early in her career, she launched and built a high-profile start up in the United Kingdom aimed at job creation in textiles manufacturing. She then went on to become the Strategy Director of an advertising agency in London and has managed marketing campaigns for a number of best-in-class clients including: Google, Samsung, Flo, RedBull, and British Telecom. In her spare time, she volunteers as the National Marketing Manager for a branch of the United Nations Association of Australia.

Anna is an accomplished marketing professional holding a degree in Marketing Innovation and Technology. She has amassed over seven years of broad marketing experience that stretches across diverse sectors, including government entities in Ireland, international tech behemoths like Oracle, and dynamic tech startups. Her wide-ranging expertise has allowed her to navigate multifaceted marketing campaigns, drive tech sales, and stimulate business growth. During the recent lockdown, Anna's entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found a socially-conscious clothing company. The company not only contributed a portion of its sales to the Irish Cancer Society, but also aims to raise awareness about the importance of regular health checks.

Niamh has a Bachelor of Arts and a diverse work background across multiple sectors in various business functions. She has managed complex projects, procurement, business improvement and stakeholder engagement. Niamh comes to us directly from a public health background.

Helmut has a communications and project management background and brings over a decade’s experience engaging a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver successful and meaningful outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Communications and a Bachelor of Applied Leadership and Critical Thinking (Dean’s Medal, top 2% of school) from Western Sydney University, Australia.

Jessica brings over 15 years of experience in administration in various roles across state government and the private sector she brings a track record of strong performance in high-volume, high-pressure environments. Previously she has worked with the Centre as our Directorate Support Officer, providing executive level administrative support that enabled effective operations and governance.
